RALEIGH, N.C. — The North Carolina Pest Management Association (NCPMA) today welcomed a new slate of executive officers for 2015-2016. The officers were sworn in during the 2015 Carolinas/Mid-Atlantic Summer Conference in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The new officers include President, Lee Smith of Rid-A-Pest, Inc. in Morehead City; Vice President, Dana McDuffie of McDuffie Pest Control in Elizabethtown; Secretary/Treasurer, Donnie Shelton, of Triangle Pest Control in Holly Springs; and Past President, Scott Canady of Canady's Services Inc. in Lumber Bridge.
“This year promises to be a great one for NCPMA, and I am honored to be serving with such a distinguished group of professionals,” said Lee Smith, 2015-2016 NCPMA president. “As a board, we look forward to improving the membership experience for our members statewide.”
Hundreds of pest management professionals from North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia are also attending classes concerning the latest research in pest management.
The 2015 Carolinas/Mid-Atlantic Summer Conference is being held at the Hilton Myrtle Beach and is presented by the National Pest Management Association.
The officers will serve a one-year term ending July 2016. Each of the executive officers has served previous terms on the board of directors and has been active in board committees.
