NORCROSS, GA – A new slate of officers has been installed at the summer conference for the Georgia Pest Control Association.

Hal Coleman, outgoing chairman, installed Thomas L. Buchanan of Allgood Pest Solutions, as president. Buchanan is Region Manager for Allgood Pest Solutions, has held various offices with GPCA and is a graduate of GPCA’s unique leadership program.

Cliff Nipper assumes the role of vice president of the association. He is the owner and manager of National Termite and Pest Control of Cordele, a past Region 12 Director and Leadership Program graduate.

Chuck Carney of Cook’s Pest Control is the new Secretary/Treasurer. Carney has been active in GPCA where he has been the Region 6 Director and is Co-Chairman of the Member Services Committee.

Ashley Kieffer, co-owner and president of Southeastern Exterminating, transitioned to GPCA Chairman of the Board. A graduate of Leadership Effingham and Leadership GPCA, Kieffer has served several other leadership roles within GPCA

Because of the diverse nature of GPCA and that fact that it is made up of companies of all sizes, two of the new officers represent small companies and two represent larger organizations from across the state of Georgia. During the next year, this slate of officers will lead GPCA along with the assistance of 18 elected region directors. Each of the officers is a graduate of GPCA’s unique, prestigious Leadership Program that prepares future leaders for the organization.
