New Jersey-Based Central Exterminating Announces Ownership Change

Central Exterminating of East Brunswick, N.J., announces the retirement of Sam Mayer. Longtime employees Rick Bachman and Paula McGorvin now run the company's daily operations.

EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. — Central Exterminating of East Brunswick, N.J., announces that after 23 years as owner/president of Central Exterminating, Sam Mayer retired, effective Jan 1, leaving Central Exterminating in the hands of his new partners: Rick Bachman and Paula McGorvin.

Bachman has been in the pest control industry for 29 years, the last 14 years as director of Central Exterminating. He will now serve as vice president/director, and oversee the technical and sales operations. McGorvin has been with Central for 22 years, the last 10 as office manager. She will now serve as secretary/office manager and oversee all office operations of Central.

Both Bachman and McGorvin will co-manage the day-to-day operations of Central Exterminating. According to Mayer, “I could not think of two more qualified individuals to run Central Exterminating. Although I owned Central and had a strong presence at the office, it was these two who really ran the show.”
