TWINSBURG, Ohio — J.T. Eaton has introduced a line of galvanized steel mouse traps and bait stations. Available in orange, yellow, brown, green, black and white, these stations can help PCOs brand their company’s corporate colors, or be a deciding factor when a client wants a trap to blend in with its environment. The powdercoating feature is currently available on the following models:

“Not only are the stations and traps superior aesthetically, but the powdercoating is both impact- and abrasion-resistant,” said J.T. Eaton Sales Manager Craig Velte. “In a food manufacturing plant account, for example, they will withstand repeated floor detergent sprays and still look new. Inspectors will really appreciate that. Outdoors, the powdercoating resists humidity and even salt spray — with no worry of corrosion. This will save professionals the added material and labor costs of frequent replacement.”
Velte adds that the darker colors help blend the traps and stations in with their surroundings, but the brighter colors can become part of a safety program: “They’re easy to spot and not run into with a skid steer, for example.”

J.T. Eaton also introduced Kills BedBugs and Crawling Insects powder. Made from diatomaceous earth (DE), there is no pyrethrin added – just long-term control.
“Bed bugs and other crawling insects just literally crawl through the powder, which attaches to their bodies and removes their moisture,” said Velte. “This causes them to dry up and die. There is no chemical reaction, so the insect doesn’t have to ingest the product to work and it cannot become resistant.”
The new formulation, available in 4- and 10-pound containers as well as convenient 7-ounce puffer bottles, can be dusted into cracks and crevices that bed bugs tend to frequent, including mattress seams, headboard joints, electrical outlets and picture frames.
