CLEARWATER, Fla. — IIndustry veteran Dr. Phil "Doc" Nichols has joined Chuck Steinmetz and Jim Swayne at Safer Home Services in Clearwater, Fla, as its technical advisor.

Nichols is an expert in the pest prevention industry with over 35 years of experience. He helped introduce Termidor to the U.S. market in 2000, and is well-respected by professionals in the industry for his advancements in termite treatment and his extensive research and development of new pest prevention equipment.
Nichols has worked with Steinmetz for more than 35 years and began working with Swayne at Sears in 1990.
Nichols’ work with Safer will concentrate on helping to further develop the most effective and least invasive methods of delivering a once-a-year protection program to residential customers that provides protection from all ant species, all roach species, spiders, earwigs, scorpions, sow bugs, pill bugs, and all other crawling pests as well as bees, wasps, and house-infesting flies. Nichols is currently refining Safer’s protocol for residential bed bug prevention and elimination.
