Dr. Jeff Lloyd, vice president of research and development at U.S.-based Nisus Corporation, attended the conference and shared his expertise on the use of borates in green pest control. While in Bangkok, Lloyd gave presentations both at Pest Summit and at Kasetsart University, the first agricultural university in Thailand and one of their oldest universities.
Nisus was among the sponsors exhibiting at the conference. The Nisus booth was created and run by Khun Numchai Loyrithiwudthikrai, manager of Chieng Thai Trading L.P. The exhibit emphasized the Nisus line of green pest control products. Khun Numchai L. is responsible for the Bora-Care treatment of the famed “Giant Swing”, a huge welcoming arch in front of Wat Suthat, one of the oldest and largest temples in Bangkok.
Pest Summit 2010 will be held in Indonesia.
