ROCKFORD, Tenn. — Nisus Corporation announced Kim Kelley-Tunis has been named vice president of regulatory & technical services. She will take over leadership of the department from Greg Baumann, who remains with Nisus in a new role as a strategic consultant and regulatory public policy advocate.
Kelley-Tunis joined Nisus in 2022 as senior director of field services. She brings more than 30 years of experience in academic research, technical services, regulatory affairs, and strategic leadership to her new role as vice president.
She was a recipient of NPMA’s Women of Excellence Award in 2017.
“I am honored to lead such a talented team and for the opportunity to be part of a such a forward-thinking company," said Kelley-Tunis.
In her new position, Kelley-Tunis will spearhead regulatory, technical and educational initiatives on behalf of Nisus, as well as oversee day-to-day operations of the regulatory and technical services group.
“Kim has both a deep knowledge of the industry, as well as a unique ability to connect with individuals to help them achieve their goals individually and in business,” said Nisus Corporation President Lee Barrett. “This transition is the culmination of years of planning. We know that our team and our customers will benefit from Kim’s leadership and vision.”
Nisus manufactures products for the professional pest control industry, industrial wood protection industry and the agricultural liquid micronutrient industry at its manufacturing plant nestled in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in Rockford, Tenn.
