KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Tracy Malone has been promoted to Vice President, Operations at Nisus Corporation.
Malone joined the company in 2000 to oversee manufacturing operations and plant facilities, including logistics, quality control, product development and packaging. He holds a bachelor's degree in marine chemistry as well as having post-graduate studies in environmental safety and health. Malone has more than 15 years of hands-on management experience in manufacturing, equipment engineering, fabrication and installation, raw materials evaluation and acquisition, packaging design and purchasing.
“Tracy has been a tremendous asset to Nisus over the years, and his promotion to this position is a direct reflection of his ability to get the job done,” according to Kevin Kirkland, president and CEO of Nisus.
In this position, Malone will also provide input on new product development, company expansion and acquisition projects, and facility improvements. He will work closely with financial counterparts for cost analysis projects, corporate strategic planning initiatives, requisitioning and evaluation of commodity bulk purchases based on market indexes.
