EAST MOLINE, Ill. – Nixalite of America announces a new addition to its pest control product line from Biogents. The Biogents mosquito traps are the result of more than 16 years of academic research into the behavior of mosquitoes. The result is a trap that targets tiger mosquitoes (Aedes albopictus) and yellow fever mosquitoes (Aedes aegypti). The other type of trap that is offered by Biogents targets tiger mosquitoes that are looking for a place to lay their eggs. Biogents has developed traps that only target bloodsucking insects and show the highest catch rates of mosquitoes without using toxic pesticides, the manufacturer reports.
