NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. — On Aug. 20 at noon, the New Jersey Pest Management Association will be holding the 'Governors' cockroach race. The race will be held at Cook College Campus, Rutgers University.
Giant Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches representing New Jersey governor hopefuls — one representing Jon Corzine and the other representing Christie Whitman — will square off as part of the 15th annual race. The winner of the reace oftentimes predicts the election.
The race is part of the 62nd annual New Jersey Pest Management Association Clinic, which features many of the top pest management experts in the nation, plus a tradeshow with the latest technologies to control insect and rodent pests, as well as feral animals.
