MARIETTA, Ga. — Northwest Exterminating was recognized as a top employer in the Atlanta area for the second year in a row. The company was ranked as the seventh "Best Place to Work" in mid-sized companies by the Atlanta Journal Constitution in 2013.
Northwest CEO, Steve Phillips says “It’s an honor to be given recognition by the AJC, as we take pride in the culture we have created for our team members. People spend a lot of time at work, so it’s only right that we make it a good place for them to be.”
Northwest offers great benefits to their team members, but one thing that really goes a long way, is how they truly value them. A Wellness committee was recently created to enhance the lives of team members by encouraging a healthy lifestyle. Northwest also created a new set of core values, that they promote to team members to adopt not only work, but outside of the workplace as well.
Northwest has a special group of Team Members that go by the Good Deed Team. The Good Deed Team was created as Northwest’s community initiative to make a difference. Every month the Good Deed Team does random acts of kindness and promotes “paying it forward” to the recipients.
