NPMA, AIB to Hold Food Safety and Sanitation Workshops

FAIRFAX, Va. — The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) has partnered with the American Institute of Baking (AIB) to present two, two-day Food Safety & Sanitation for Food Plant Workshops. Both workshops are designed to provide pest management professionals, working in food plants, essential information and training to better understand a food safety program.

The seminars are scheduled for:

May 2-3: Hyatt Regency Indianapolis, Indianapolis, Indiana
August 29-30: Red Lion Hotel Seattle Airport, Seattle, Washington

AIB’s Al St. Cyr will teach the course and NPMA’s Greg Baumann will host and moderate the workshop. Both experts have real experience as auditors and quality assurance professionals in the food industry.

NPMA continues to provide current, practical, and applicable information at the Food Safety & Sanitation workshops and the informal format encourages class participation and interaction with instructors. During the workshop, attendees will apply problem solving skills in a virtual audit.
