FAIRFAX, Va. – The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) announced the creation of the NPMA Culture Catalyst Award, sponsored by Arrow Exterminators. This new award will recognize pest management companies that demonstrate exceptional company culture and core values that drive employee recruitment, retention and engagement.
The Culture Catalyst Award will celebrate organizations that have established strong workplace cultures through innovative approaches to work-life balance, community involvement and employee development opportunities.
"As culture continues to be a driving factor in organizational success, NPMA is excited to recognize member companies that are making a difference through their workplace environments," said Dominique Stumpf, CAE, CEO of NPMA. "This award highlights the importance of creating positive, supportive workplaces that benefit both employees and the communities they serve."
The award, which will be presented annually at PestWorld, recognizes that exceptional company culture directly contributes to business success in the pest management industry.
"Arrow Exterminators is proud to sponsor the Culture Catalyst Award," said Emily Thomas Kendrick, NPMA President-elect and Chief Executive Officer at Arrow Exterminators. "As a family-owned company that places tremendous value on our team members and company culture, we believe that celebrating organizations that prioritize their people is essential to the continued growth and success of our industry. This award will showcase companies that understand that exceptional culture leads to exceptional performance."
Companies may self-nominate or be nominated by colleagues. Nominees will be evaluated based on their demonstrated commitment to strong core values, employee engagement initiatives, innovative approaches to work-life balance, community support, and unique factors contributing to employee development, retention, and advancement.
The inaugural recipient of the NPMA Culture Catalyst Award will be announced at PestWorld 2025.
Nominations for this year’s award are now open. For more information about the NPMA Culture Catalyst Award, please visit www.npmapestworld.org/culturecatalyst.
