“Our intention is to offer all technicians a chance to take advantage of the valuable information this resource provides for the summer season,” said Rob Lederer, executive vice president of the NPMA. “From color photos to biology and control measures, NPMA recommends that all employees keep a copy of this manual in their service vehicles.”
The NPMA will be releasing an updated version of the Field Guide in late 2007. The new version will include additional regional pests as well as updated control procedures. New color photos will be added, allowing users a chance to further educate themselves and their consumers on structural pests.
The Field Guide is an 800-page reference source that includes detailed information on nearly 200 different structural pests: ants, bees, cockroaches, flies, spiders, termites and more. Illustrated with nearly 1,000 color photos and drawings and supplied with quick reference tabs and a ruler. The Field Guide includes detailed information on how to recognize each pest, its biology and control.
