NPMA Announces ‘Pesty’ Awards; Launches Wellness Challenge 2005

The awards are a new opportunity to celebrate excellence in marketing and advertising executed by pest control companies. NPMA also annouced the launch of Wellness Challenge 2005.

FAIRFAX, Va. - The National Pest Management Association announces the “Pesty Awards” - a new opportunity to celebrate excellence in marketing and advertising executed by pest control companies.

“The Pesty” awards will be unveiled this year during this year’s NPMA Academy.

In addition to potentially capturing an award in the category competitions, participants will get: $5 in Pesty Bucks for each entry they submit to redeem for NPMA meeting registrations or the Bug Store; a personalized copy of NPMA’s new marketing guide for pest control, which will be presented at the Academy; potential to be part of a national, best-selling marketing book by world-renowned author Dr. George Belch; and the chance to receive a customized marketing summary and analysis.

NPMA Launches Wellness Challenge 2005. In other NPMA news, the association announces the lauch of Wellness Challenge 2005.

Working in conjunction with Andy Pfefferkorn, a certified personal trainer based in Virginia, the Wellness Challenge is designed to help members tone their lives. The program includes everything from nutritional advice to workout regimens tailored specifically to each member’s specific needs.

The Wellness Challenge includes a soon-to-be-announced Web site, a quarterly newsletter, personalized workout information, and more. In addition, Andy Pfefferkorn will be at many of NPMA’s meetings this year, including Academy 2005 and PestWorld 2005, offering in-depth analysis and advice, as well as incredible workouts.
