PMPs, researchers and state and federal regulators have joined forces in their fight to eradicate the problematic termite Nasutitermes corniger, originally referred to as the tree termite, but now being called the conehead termite (see related PCT article).
In the following video, Alan Fugler, executive vice president, Florida Pest Management Association (FPMA), provides an update on these efforts and why there is a need for additional funding to keep these eradication efforts going. The need for funding this initiative was one of the issue at this year's NPMA Legislative Day. (Click here to read NPMA's position paper.)
