FAIRFAX, Va. — The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) and the QualityPro Board of Directors announce the launch of a new member benefit, the OSHA Toolbox. The toolbox will cover the basic OSHA rules and regulations that apply to all of NPMA's members and is designed to be an accessible tool for members to reference the basic standards of OSHA. The toolbox will include:
• OSHA Basic Information
• A guide informing members of their rights and responsibilities during an OSHA inspection
• State by State OSHA Posting Requirements as well as link to other Department of Labor posting requirements
• State-by-state injury and illness reporting requirements and forms
• Respiratory protection checklists, as well as assistance in determining if member companies are in compliance with the Medical and Fit Testing Requirements for Respirators
• Basic first aid and medical requirements and other PPE information
• Information on the Hazard Communication Standard, as well as links to GHS training
To log into the OSHA Toolbox, go to www.qualityprotools.org. The log in for all members will be their email address and the default password is osha1 (case sensitive). The primary contact serves as the administrator and can add/delete as many users as he or she would like to have access.
