WASHINGTON, D.C. — An important business item on the agenda at NPMA Legislative Day is gaining support for S. 406 and H.R. 525, the Small Business Health Fairness Act of 2005.
H.R. 525 and S. 406, which was introduced as legislation for making health insurance more available to small business, was passed by the Senate. This bill allows groups such as pest control operators, on a national scale, to band together to obtain medical insurance at group rates.
NPMA encourages pest management professionals to write their legislators asking for support of this legislation.
