WASHINGTON — Don't forget to join NPMA and other industry professionals March 16-17, for the first-ever NPMA Virtual Legislative Day. Attendees will trumpeting the positive effect the pest control industry has on public health and pushing back against arbitrary pesticide regulations. Your voice as a constituent is what amplifies the work NPMA staff does year-round. Attending Legislative Day will give you an opportunity to hear the issues, talk with your state and federal representatives, and make a difference.
This year's Legislative Day issues include: 1) education about the industry and our connection to public health, 2) priorities in future COVID packages as well as reminding policymakers that we are an essential industry, and 3) educating members on the problematic provisions of the PACTPA (Neguse/Udall) Bill from last Congress which is expected to be re-introduced.
