ALBANY, N.Y. - Joel Nolasco became president of New York Pest Management Association on May 12 at its installation dinner dance. Nolasco is co-owner of NuBorn Pest Control in Mamaroneck, N.Y. Prior to becoming president Nolasco served as vice president, secretary and regional director of this association. Nolasco is a member of the NPMA P3 Steering Committee.
Other officers elected were Josh Bloom of Standard Pest Management as first vice president; Joel Fain of Dial-A-Bug as second vice president; Bill Clark of Thomas Pest Services as secretary; and Sam Soto of First Rate Solutions as treasurer. Bill Minahan of JC Ehrlich is the immediate past president.
NYPMA encompasses the entire state of New York and has 12 regional directors who sit on the board. Len Douglen serves as executive director with Harriet Schary as associate director and Ken Healy as membership coordinator.
