NYACK, N.Y. — Green was the theme at the New York State Pest Management Fall Conference held in Nyack, N,Y. During the day-long event pest management professionals listened and interacted with experts and authorities on implementing IPM programs and on how to address the current trend of “greening.”
Speakers included, among others, Harvey Goldglantz, Frank Meek (Orkin) and Tom Green of the IPM Institute of North America. A highlight of the event was the presentation of a plaque to Jody Gangloff–Kaufmann, Ph.D., of the Cornell IPM Program, in recognition for her efforts in education and outreach in promoting the highest ideals and principals of IPM to the professional pest management community.
