Daryl Dever,a lobbyist and government specialist from the Columbus, Ohio area died after being stung multiple times during a golf outing in Northerhn Michigan, NBC 4 reports.
At the Treetops Resort, his ball went off into the woods on the Par 3 second hole.
He went to retrieve it and was swarmed by yellow jackets, or hornets, according to the general manager of the resort.
His family says he was stung up to two dozen times, many of those stings in the neck and head.
