Ohio Pest Management Association
LORE CITY, Ohio - The Professional Women in Pest Management (PWIPM) of Ohio hosted its fifth-annual networking event on July 13, to bring members and pest professionals together during the Ohio Pest Management Association (OPMA) Annual Summer Conference at Salt Fork State Park Lodge in Lore City, Ohio.
The event presented a creative, family-fun activity in which members designed white “Together We Soar PWIPM 2024” t-shirts to tie-dye, adding their own splash of color and personality.
Later that evening, OPMA hosted a reception where two members of the PWIPM Ohio Chapter, Christine Mastorovich with Veseris and Colette Lewis, Bugs Bite Cincy dba Mosquito Authority, were recognized for their exceptional work in the industry.
Earlier in 2024, Mastorovich and Lewis received National Pest Management Association (NPMA) Impact Awards for Women in Pest Management during the Women’s Forum in Atlanta.

Furthermore, PWIPM participated in the OPMA Live Auction to raise funds for the chapter’s mission. The “Honeycomb” tiny library was auctioned off and found its home with Brad and Jessica Sparks of Elite Pest and Termite Control in Columbus, Ohio. Funds raised directly support PWIPM’s mission to attract, develop and support women in the pest management industry through educational programs, resources and peer networking.
