LODI, Ohio — A State Highway Patrol trooper was stung by a yellow jacket and died of an allergic reaction in Seville Tuesday.
Trooper Jack P. Holland Jr. was at his desk when the wasp stung him at 1 p.m. He used the allergy kit he carried, and so did paramedics who took him to Lodi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:30 p.m., troopers said.
