OPC
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – OPC Pest Services, a subsidiary of Rollins that is based in Louisville, Ken., has strengthened its presence in the Bowling Green and South-Central Kentucky area with the acquisition of The Wheeldon Company.
The Wheeldon Company is a family-owned business and has grown from 2 to 17 employees over the past 18 years. They’ve said that providing service for their customers has been a blessing in many ways.
OPC Co-President Kevin Mills said he has known Garry Wheeldon for years and have seen the Wheeldon Company grow into a successful business. “We found their service quality and reputation equal to ours including how they treat their customers and employees with the utmost respect and importance,” he said. “Those values match ours at OPC, so it was a natural fit for us. We are excited for the opportunities and benefits for the Wheeldon team.”
OPC said the acquisition will not only enable both companies to broaden their service areas in Kentucky, but it will also allow them to retain the family feel of a neighborhood provider with the perks of a larger company with more resources behind it. It also adds more technicians so they can respond to customer requests and pest issues even faster than they were able to before.
