He is a past OPMA President and has served as member of the association’s industry affairs board for more than 20 years. Tally also been an active in helping organize OPMA training events.
The Dick Parker Award is presented to an OPMA member or affiliate “who has demonstrated a full commitment of his time and efforts to our association." It was created in honor of Dick Parker, former head entomologist at Pillsbury Mills (Enid, Okla.) and founder of Parker Pest Control.
Parker was an active OPMA member who developed the association's "certified technician" course, a rigorous 3-day training event that concludes with both a written and identification exam.
