ATLANTA – Orkin recently expanded its employee base and service area with the acquisition of Buck’s Pest Control in Fuquay-Varina, N.C., outside of Raleigh.
“Buck’s Pest Control has provided customers with quality pest control for 25 years,” said Bob Hines, director of acquisitions for Orkin. “We look forward to working with the company’s employees to continue to provide excellent service to businesses and residents in Fuquay-Varina.”
Before founding Buck’s Pest Control, owner Buck Jones worked for Orkin as a sales and district manager in North Carolina and South Carolina for 20 years. Orkin will continue to leverage Jones’ valuable leadership skills as he consults for the company during the transition.
Jones’ son, Mike, will bring his industry knowledge and experience to the Raleigh branch, where he will work as a service manager. Buck’s Pest Control employees also will join Orkin’s Raleigh branch, where they will serve both Raleigh and Fuquay-Varina customers.
