ATLANTA – Orkin expanded its employee base and service area in Hyde Park, New York with the acquisition of Craig Thomas Pest Control.
Craig and his wife, Michelle, will continue to run the branch that services the mid-Hudson Valley of lower New York as Craig Thomas Pest Control. Prior to starting the company in 1996, Craig worked for his father’s pest control business and for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
“Craig’s unique experience gave him the knowledge to create and build a very successful, well-run company,” said Freeman Elliott, Orkin’s Atlantic Division president. “We are excited about joining the Thomas family and their team because they’re passionate about loyalty to their employees and customers. Craig has done a great deal for the industry at a national level on many fronts and is well respected far beyond his service area in New York.”
“We are excited to combine our company talent with Orkin’s deep tradition of excellence to better serve our customers,” said Craig Thomas, owner of Craig Thomas Pest Control.
