Orkin Acquires YES Pest Pros of Elkhart and South Bend, Indiana

Orkin has acquired YES Pest Pros of Elkhart and South Bend, Ind. The acquisition was announced by Kemp Anderson Consulting, which represented the Young family.

 

In 1969 Joseph and Robert Young purchased a pest control company in Bloomington, Ind., which kicked off three generations working the pest control industry. Gradually Joe's son David started expanding to locations in North Indiana and Southern Michigan. Eventually Anthony 'Tony' Young purchased the Northern Indiana locations from his father. 

 

Tony continued to grow the company through mergers and acquisitions as well as organic growth, and he eventually purchased the original location in Bloomington from his grandfather. Now, Tony has decided to sell the Elkhart and South Bend Indiana location due to other business interests. Tony and his wife, Annie, most recently led the company, which serves one of the largest markets in Indiana with both commercial and residential pest services.
