ATLANTA — Orkin Canada acquired PEI Pest Control, a leading pest control company on Prince Edward Island, on Oct. 3. With the purchase, Orkin Canada became the only pest control provider with a local presence in all 10 Canadian provinces.
Founded 30 years ago by Frank Legault, PEI Pest Control’s local branch office will continue to be managed by Ben Legault, son of the founder and a 21-year pest control veteran. All current PEI Pest Control employees at the stand-alone branch will join Orkin Canada.
“We look forward to providing the same excellent service expected by our customers on the island through a local branch location,” said Orkin Canada President Gary Muldoon. “With the addition of these seasoned professionals to the Orkin Canada team, we’re proud to be the only provider offering local service in all 10 provinces.”
