This year, as a part of Orkin’s Fight the Bite campaign, the company offered a unique opportunity for employees to win a trip to Africa through an essay contest. This year’s winner, Julie Stone, commercial sales new customer specialist, and Martha Craft, vice president of public relations & corporate communications, helped deliver mosquito bed nets and educate recipients about their proper use in Gambella, Ethiopia. Now in year three of the Fight the Bite campaign, Orkin has raised more than $435,000 to date, providing more than 43,500 bed nets to families in need in Africa.
