ATLANTA – Orkin has appointed Karie Keown-Kirchner national accounts director. Keown-Kirchner will report to the vice president of sales operations and has direct responsibility for client services, customer care and quality assurance.

She served as the general manager until Presto-X-Company was purchased by J C Ehrlich/Rentokil North America in 2007. Keown-Kirchner continued to serve as general manager until 2009 before moving to director of sales training and later, director of strategic accounts. She joined Orkin earlier this year as an executive management trainee.
Keown-Kirchner graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She served two years as the chairperson for the National Pest Management Association’s (NPMA) Business Development Committee, was named the 2009 NPMA Committee Chairperson of the Year, served on the NPMA Board of Directors and was presented the NPMA’s 2010 Woman of Excellence Award.
“I am very excited to join the Orkin team,” said Keown-Kirchner. “Through my involvement with the NPMA, I met and became friends with several Orkin leaders, and it was through these relationships that I knew I wanted to work at Orkin. I am enthusiastic about the growth and direction of the company.”
