ATLANTA – Orkin announced the opening of a new branch in Scottsdale, Ariz., an addition to Orkin’s more than 400 locations throughout North America.
The Scottsdale branch will cover the Phoenix Valley, specifically Maricopa County, an area that has been serviced by the Mesa branch. Orkin opens in Scottsdale because they identified the Phoenix Valley as an area with a growing demand for pest control services. Primary pests of concern in the region include scorpions, rodents and ants, with scorpions causing over 50% of the areas business. The branch officially opened April 1.
“Orkin is committed to providing first-rate service. By creating a presence in Scottsdale, we’ll be better able to meet the needs of customers who previously communicated with the Mesa branch,” said Orkin President Glen Rollins. “We look forward to strengthening the relationships we currently have, and establishing new ones with homeowners residing in the Phoenix Valley,” he added.
Overseeing Orkin’s Scottsdale branch is branch manager, Debbie Burnett, who brings 22 years of senior management experience to Orkin from her previous place of employment. Debbie will lead the route management team of 10 technicians that will service over 3,000 customers in the Phoenix Valley.
