The New England Pest Management Association’s most prestigious award is the Bartlett W. Eldridge Award, named after the original founder and first president of the Association. This annual award recognizes an individual who has distinguished himself through his many years of dedicated service to the Association and by his contributions to the growth and development of the pest control industry in New England.
The presentation of this year’s award was made at the NEPMA reception at PestWorld 2012, with a follow up presentation at the Associations’ recent annual meeting. The 2012 recipient of the Bartlett W. Eldridge Award was Bill Siegel.
Bill has worked for many years at Orkin and he is currently their Boston Area Manager. He has worked tirelessly to promote educational opportunities for pest professionals; he has been an integral part of the legislative and regulatory efforts here in New England and he is continually promoting professionalism within the pest management industry. Over the years, Bill has held many positions at NEPMA including being its president in 2007-2008. His involvement extends to the National Pest Management Association where he is on the Green Pro Advisory Board.
The award presentation at the annual meeting culminated in Bill Minahan, Orkin’s New England Regional Manager, giving a humorous slide presentation of Bill Siegel’s evolution to his current position.
