LA QUINTA, Calif. — Innolytics completed the requirements of the local regulatory authorities and subsequently received approval for their product, OvoControl.
OvoControl P (nicarbazin 0.5 percent) represents "birth control" for birds. The registration in Chile adds to the regulatory portfolio for OvoControl in South America which includes Ecuador, Costa Rica, El Salvador and Colombia.
Erick Wolf, CEO, said, “Registration in Chille builds on our strategy to make OvoControl available in key markets in Latin America impacted with pigeons in urban areas and industrial facilities.”
OvoControl P is a ready-to-use contraceptive bait, dispensed on flat surfaces with a mechanical feeder. This effective and humane technology is especially useful for managing pigeon flocks in larger facilities without having to resort to poisons or labor-intensive trapping programs.
Pesticide registrations in markets outside of the United States each require unique applications and data packages. For more information on OvoControl, visit www.ovocontrol.com.
