Bello appeared in two show segments on “Swarms” featuring fire ants and German cockroaches. The show also featured flies, maggots, locusts and other pests. The two-hour show aired in July on the National Geographic Channel and is scheduled to appear again in the future.
“The folks at National Geographic do great camera work and their videos are first rate. It was truly an honor to be asked to work with them,” Bello said. “Their close-up video capability is incredible and is excellent in educating the public about pests and other animals.”
Bello followed in the footsteps of his former professor Dr. Austin M. Frishman who was dubbed “Dr. Cockroach” when he appeared on National Geographic several years ago. Interested viewers can check scheduling www.nationalgeographic.com .
Bello became a pest management consultant earlier this year. For more information about his services visit www.pest-consultant.com.
