SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Pest Control Operators of California (PCOC) announced the Legislative Days 2010 will be held April 20-21 at the Hyatt Regency in Sacramento, Calif.
PCOC’s Legislative Day is an opportunity for pest management professionals to visit the State Capitol and educate their lawmakers. Legislative issues that will be discussed during the conference include”
• State pre-emption elimination threat
• Employer health insurance mandate
• Worker’s compensation reform
• Sales tax on services
This year’s keynote speaker is Nathan Fletcher, the State Assemblyman representing California’s 75th District. He is the first combat veteran of the Global War on Terror to serve in the California State Legislature.
A block of rooms has been set aside at the Hyatt Regency at Capitol Park. The rate is $195 minus a $50 subsidy (Tuesday only) from PAPCO making your room at the Hyatt a very affordable $145. Reservations must be made by 5:00 pm on March 30, 2010.
