WASHINGTON, D.C. – Republican Robert Dold, president of Rose Pest Solutions, was sworn in Wednesday as the 10th District Congressman for Illinois. Dold was sworn in alongside family, friends and staff by U.S. House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH).
The small business owner defeated three-time Democratic candidate Dan Seals, and succeeds Senator Mark Kirk, R-Highland Park, who won President Obama’s vacant U.S. Senate seat in the 2010 general election.
