WASHINGTON — In the run-up to the House of Representatives’ vote to repeal healthcare reform, freshman Congressman Bob Dold (R-Ill.), president of Rose Pest Solutions, rejected his own healthcare benefits as a member of Congress.
“We have an opportunity here, an opportunity for real reform,” Dold said during a speech on the House floor. “We want that, we need that, the American people have demanded it. From American businesses and people all across the United States, they demand it. And from the other side that said we came and had healthcare reform, I did not take the congressional plan.”
