Andrew KnoxMADISON, WIS. – Andrew Knox joined Bell Laboratories’ international sales team in January as Australasian Business Manager for Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Fiji and other Australasian territories.
Knox will provide strategic direction in sales, marketing and registration of Bell’s rodent control products in the pest control, agricultural and retail markets in Australasia and will also develop new business in selected markets in Southeast Asia.
Working with Bell distributors and technical representatives, he will assess customer and market information in order to build strong customer/distributor relationships and to enhance the market share of Bell products, according to a company press release.
Knox’s sales experience in Australia’s agricultural/pest control industry began at Schering Agro-Chemicals in Kensington, New South Wales (NSW), where he worked his way from sales representative to senior product manager, launching several major brands. From 1988 to 2004, he managed accounts in the turf business for Globe Australia Pty Ltd and created its first pest control supply division. Prior to accepting his position with Bell, Knox managed Better Methods, Pty Ltd, a hardware tools supply company.
Knox holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Botany from Glasgow University in his native Scotland and a post-graduate diploma in marketing from Charles Sturt University in Bathurst, NSW. He will be based in Sydney, Australia.
