Erik SmithSanta Fe Springs, Calif. — Target Specialty Products announced Erik Smith as the newest member of its Fresno team. A former Agricultural Standards Inspector with the Madera County Department of Weights and Measures, Smith will call on pest control, fumigation and public agency customers in the southern San Joaquin Valley.
“We are pleased to that Erik has joined our Fresno team,” said Target’s Vice President and Regional Manager Chuck Synold. “His educational and industry background, as well as his regulatory experience make him a valuable resource for our customers in the professional pest control and fumigation markets.”
Smith is a graduate of California State University Fresno where he earned a bachelor of arts in natural science with an emphasis in biology. He holds professional licenses from California’s Department of Food and Agriculture in pesticide regulation, investigation and environmental monitoring, pest prevention and plant regulation, and transaction and product verification.
Smith is a member of the Pest Control Operators of California and the association’s Central Valley, Southern Valley and Santa Barbara districts.
