Layton City, Utah — A pest management professional and the company that employed him when he applied a pesticide that allegedly killed two Layton girls a year ago were indicted by a federal grand jury in U.S. District Court on Wednesday.
Coleman Nocks, 63, and Bugman Pest and Lawn are charged with three counts of unlawful use of a registered pesticide. The charges are class A misdemeanors, and each count is punishable by up to one year in prison and a $25,000 fine.
The company could face a fine of $200,000 on each count if convicted for its role.
