Research Triangle Park, N.C. – In an effort to make packaging more sustainable, Bayer Environmental Science has announced that 40-pound units of Maxforce Granular Fly Bait will now be available in a plastic bag within a corrugate box. The 40-pound plastic buckets will no longer be available and the new container will be delivered with 20 units per pallet, instead of 18.
“The new packaging for Maxforce Granular Fly Bait uses far less plastic than the original plastic buckets and is easier to dispose of and recycle,” says Gordon Morrison, Maxforce market manager. “As part of Bayer’s Protecting Tomorrow Today (PTT) initiative, our team strives to keep sustainability in mind while developing products that are more convenient for PMPs.”
Maxforce Granular Fly Bait contains the active ingredient imidacloprid and provides fast control of house flies in 60 seconds and lasts up to 30 days. With broad label use direction, the bait can be applied as a broadcast application, placed in bait stations or dissolved in water and painted on surfaces outside commercial facilities.
