Research Triangle Park, N.C. — Environmental Science, a division of Bayer CropScience, announced that Peter Jardine has been hired as market segment manager for the Pest Control segment of the Professional and Consumer businesses.
“Peter will be an instrumental contributor to our product strategy and business development across both the professional and consumer sides of our pest control business,” says Mark Schneid, Director of Strategic Marketing at Bayer CropScience. “We are thrilled to have Peter on our team as we continue to leverage the science and innovation that Bayer brings to the marketplace and position our brands for long term growth.”
Jardine has an extensive background in product strategy and development, working in a variety of industries, including automotive, healthcare and consumer packaged goods. He began his career in advertising, working at agencies, including BBDO Atlanta, where he served as a team member on the Bayer Advanced account. Jardine also has a rich background in pest control, having worked as the Director of Strategy and Innovation for Orkin in Atlanta, Ga. Most recently, Peter worked as Vice President of Marketing for Highwoods Properties, a real estate investment trust headquartered in Raleigh, N.C., that is one of the largest owners and operators of suburban office properties in the Southeast.
Jardine received a bachelor of arts in English from Bucknell University.
