ATLANTA — Atlanta-based Orkin recently promoted Steve Vey to assistant division president in the Midwest division of Orkin, where he will be responsible for maximizing division growth and profits.
Vey originally joined Orkin, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rollins Inc., in 1991 as a commercial account executive in Milwaukee. Before his promotion, Vey was the Midwest commercial region manager where he managed 11 commercial and three residential branches and won best region in Orkin for the past three years.
“For almost 20 years, Steve has made enormous contributions to Orkin,” said Robert Stevens, Midwest division president of Orkin. “I look forward to his continued success as we strive to provide the best pest control service to our customers.”
Vey attended the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee where he majored in marketing. He lives with his wife Grace and their son Stephen Jr. in Oak Creek, Wis., where Stephen is a senior in high school.
