PCT Launches 5th Annual Best Pest Photo Contest

CLEVELAND, Ohio — PCT is proud to announce its fifth annual Best Pest Photo Contest. In your daily activities pest management professionals encounter interesting or unusual looking pests, massive infestations and pest-damaged items. Many of you have taken photos of these nasty looking creatures and/or overwhelming infestations/damages. Send your top photo to PCT Online and if it is deemed “Best” by our esteemed panel of judges you will win $500!

More than 75 PCT Online users submitted photos for last year’s contest. Dong-Hwan Choe, a graduate student in UC-Riverside's Entomology Department, wins PCT's 4th annual Best Pest Photo Contest with the above photo of a pair of Argentine ants tending citrus mealy bugs.

Send this year’s nominations via e-mail to bharbison@gie.net or mail them (prints and CDs are both acceptable — No Polaroids) to: PCT Online, c/o Brad Harbison, 4012 Bridge Ave., Cleveland, OH 44113. Please provide a detailed description of the photo, including the identification of the pest and where the photo was taken. (Limit one photo per entrant.)
