CLEVELAND Last week, GIE Media, parent company of PCT magazine, relocated our office from Cleveland, Ohio, to nearby Richfield, Ohio.

After more than 20 years in one location, the company had long ago outgrown its previous location in the historic Ohio City neighborhood of Cleveland (home of football's John Heisman  for whom the Heisman Trophy was named).

When GIE Media first started, it had one magazine with three employees. Since its humble start the company has grown and now has 14 magazines and close to 90 employees. In addition to magazines, GIE produces books, directories, conferences, and other products and services that cater to a diverse group of industries.

GIE Media employees gather for a final photo in front of the company's original office on Bridge Avenue in Cleveland's Ohio City neighborhood.

These include the recycling, lawn care, pest control, golf course maintenance, and aerospace and medical development industries. In fact, the company has been operating out of two locations for several years, with the editorial, art, and production department the only groups in the company that still remained at the company's original location.
