PCT took home first place in the category Trade Publications – Trade Report, for its "2005 State of the Industry" report. PCT Art Director Andrea Vagas grabbed second place honors in the category Visuals – Trade & Professional Publications, for the September 2005 cover “The Technician of the Future.” PCT's Brad Harbison also earned an honorable mention in the category New Media — Features, for the Web series "A-Active Building Project."
“Our editorial and design staff works very hard to produce a quality publication that is of value to our readers. I’m pleased the Press Club of Cleveland recognized that commitment by honoring the PCT Media Group with two awards in this year’s competition. We will continue to do our best to meet and exceed the editorial needs of our readers, and contribute to the continued growth and development of the pest management industry,” said PCT Publisher Dan Moreland.
This year's 28th Annual Excellence in Journalism Awards recognizes Ohio's top performers in various realms of journalism. More than 1,200 entries were received this year. The awards will be presented at a Press Club of Cleveland ceremony in June.
