Orlando, Fla. — Orlando-based Massey Services, the fifth largest pest prevention company in the nation, recently partnered with Orange County Public Schools to provide pest prevention services throughout the district during the coming year.
The Orange County Public School's internal pest prevention team will work alongside Massey's PrevenTech division to control pests in the schools throughout the district. School board officials determined that Massey's state-of-the-art program, in conjunction with the district team's work, will best ensure that pests are prevented in learning institutions throughout Orange County, Massey reports.
"We are excited about partnering with Orange County Public Schools to continue to ensure a safe environment for our children," said Tony Massey, president and COO of Massey Services. "We are confident that the combination of our industry-leading technical expertise and the county's own pest prevention methods will help to prevent any pest problems within the schools in an environmentally responsible manner."
Earlier in the year, Massey Services successfully alleviated a German cockroach problem in 22 Orange County Public Schools. Massey Services' PrevenTech integrated pest management program targets various pests and is proven effective on commercial properties, the firm reports.
