Peachtree Pest Control's Steve Arnold Advocates Fair Tax Plan

Editor’s note: In the November issue of CPCO PRO, the trade magazine for the Certified Pest Control Operators Association of Georgia, Steve Arnold, president of Peachtree Pest Control, Norcross, Ga., wrote an article encouraging PCOs to rally behind the proposed Fair Tax.

To my Fellow Operators:

The intent of this letter to enlist your help and that of our membership in eliminating the I.R.S., Together we can make April 15th just another day.

Many of you have heard of the FAIR TAX or maybe you’ve attended one of their rallies. I would like to make you more aware of this national movement, the Americans for Fair Taxation, and to move our fellow pest control operators to get involved, add their voices to the national choirs of concerned citizens, and make a difference.

I’m addressing this as an open letter of involvement to our membership. If we, as an association, pool our efforts by signing these petitions and pledges, give copies to our office staff and tech’s, talk to our customers, tell our friends, we can add thousands of voices to this effort.

It has been said that, “THIS WILL NEVER PASS”, my answer, “CAN’T NEVER DID AND NEVER WILL”, however, if we try, we have a chance to make a major change.
